At Delphy Improvement Centre, we focus on knowledge development within the sectors ‘Greenhouse Horticulture’ and ‘Indoor Farming’. Our mission is to make knowledge and (technical) developments applicable within cultivation systems and to transfer them to practice. Delphy Improvement Centre is equipped with practice-oriented greenhouse departments and Indoor Farming facilities.
As Research Team Leader, you lead a young and enthusiastic research team, work on project proposals, build network and relationship management and contribute to the further professionalisation of the research activities. You will carry out a number of your own research projects, as well as coach the researchers within the team.
The job
- Leading the team of researchers and developing on specialisations within the team
- Initiating and setting up new projects jointly with the other researchers, with everyone working from their own expertise
- Managing relationships in practice, but also in the public field. You know how projects should connect to the various research calls
- Leading your own research projects, where you know how to use your scientific knowledge in a practice-oriented environment
