Field study reveals measures for runoff management
Field research on surface runoff and possible management measures will be conducted in Flevoland from 2021 to 2025. Interim results from the first two years show that soil type plays a crucial role in runoff. Supported by a grant from Flevoland province and conducted by CLM Research and Consultancy, Delphy and Delphy Improvement Centre in cooperation with local arable farmers, this research offers tools to reduce nutrient and plant protection product emissions.
It brings the WFD objectives and the goals set in the Future Vision Crop Protection 2030 a step closer.
