Friday, Sept. 27, 2024, Delphy will hold its annual open day at the Tree and Perennial Horticulture Research Nursery on the Dijkgraafweg in Hazerswoude-Dorp.

The Research Nursery for Tree and Perennial Horticulture has a modern greenhouse with separate greenhouse departments, container fields and trial fields for outdoor cultivation. Here, trials are carried out for various clients such as growers, manufacturers and national and international authorities. The trials are handled with the highest degree of confidentiality and carried out by researchers in consultation with expert cultivation specialists. Only when the client so desires, Delphy offers the possibility of broad dissemination of research results and conclusions.

In addition, demonstration projects are actually carried out on site to introduce growers to new developments. For example, the possibilities of a more circular cultivation within the Close Cycle project and reduction of phosphate use within wAardewerk are being examined.

Program

During the open house, visitors will get a tour of public trials and presentations of projects and current developments. Participation can count toward license renewal.
