On Monday evening, June 24, a well-attended field demonstration on drip irrigation and fertigation in onion cultivation took place in Marknesse. More than twenty visitors—a nice mix of growers, advisors, and suppliers—gained insight into the trials that Delphy is conducting within the Soil and Water Flevoland project. The central question is: do different watering and fertilization strategies influence nitrogen leaching and onion yields?
