This program consists of three practice-oriented training courses that together form a complete learning pathway. Guided by experienced Delphy experts, you’ll gain knowledge and tools for optimal cultivation and product quality.

What will you learn?
The program consists of three separate trainings, each focused on a specific aspect of modern cucumber cultivation. Theory and practice are combined with assignments, greenhouse visits, and room for personal input. You’ll learn from specialists who are active in the field every day.
After completing the program, you will have:

Training 1: Cultivation & Climate
Duration: 4 half-days – €795,-
Dive into the growth and development of the cucumber plant and learn how to manage the greenhouse climate optimally and sustainably.
Topics per session:
- Plant physiology, photosynthesis, temperature, CO₂.
- Cultivation strategy, flowering, fruit setting.
- Transpiration, humidity, screening, plant density.
- Current cultivation questions and strategies (Delphy Cucumber Team.
Training 2: Water & Fertilization
Duration: 3 half-days – €595,-
Learn how to align irrigation and fertilization with the plant’s needs and how to interpret analyses.
Topics per session:
- Water management and fertilization in the plant.
- Nutrients, substrate, EC and pH.
- Practical questions and new developments (Delphy Glasshouse Vegetables Team).
Training 3: Crop protection & IPM
Duration: 2 half-days – € 395,-
Identify diseases and pests in cucumber cultivation and learn how to manage them using integrated and biological methods.
Topics per session:
- IPM setup, scouting, safe working practices.
- Biological crop protection, pest identification

How it works?
Learning is most effective when words are linked to real-life situations. That’s why we use various examples and exercises and visit the greenhouse. There’s plenty of room for questions and personal input. The training setup is a highly effective way to learn a lot in a short time. The training is provided by Delphy cucumber experts and trainers.
The result
The trainings are aimed at participants with some experience who want to grow or gain more insight into modern tomato cultivation. Participants’ prior knowledge and learning needs are always considered in the training content. Each session includes theory, practical application, and assignments.
