Strawberry Cultivation Specialist
Innovations and developments in strawberry cultivation are evolving rapidly. Examples include the shift to LED lighting, energy-efficient cultivation, new heating and dehumidification techniques, the phasing out of crop protection products, and optimizing production. These are challenges that strawberry growers face. Understanding plant and cultivation processes is crucial for effectively managing change and innovation.
To address these needs, Delphy Academy and the Delphy Soft Fruit Team have developed the Strawberry Cultivation Specialist training program. This program consists of three standalone trainings that together form the Strawberry Cultivation Specialist program. Supported by Delphy’s strawberry cultivation experts, these trainings provide the knowledge and tools needed for optimal cultivation and quality. This expert training is designed for company managers, cultivation managers and employees responsible for strawberry cultivation.

How it works?
Learning is most effective when concepts are linked to real-life situations. That’s why this training uses examples, exercises, and hands-on greenhouse activities. Participants can ask questions and contribute their insights. This setup enables participants to learn a lot in a short time. The training is given by Delphy strawberry experts and trainers.
The result
The trainings are intended for participants with some experience who wish to grow further or gain more insight into modern strawberry cultivation. Participant backgrounds and knowledge needs are considered in the course content. Each session includes theory, practical applications, and assignments.
While each training starts at Delphy Horst (ISFC), follow-up sessions may be held at the companies of participants, including site visits. Each session lasts approximately 3½ hours.
By increasing knowledge and understanding, employees become more engaged and motivated. They are better equipped to work independently, take responsibility, and contribute to necessary future developments. This fosters personal growth and job satisfaction.
Participants receive a certificate for each completed training. Completing all three trainings earns the Strawberry Cultivation Specialist certificate from Delphy.
