With the expertise of Delphy experts, this training provides knowledge and tools for optimal yield and quality by focusing on climate and cultivation technique. This expert training is for anyone who wants to deepen her or his knowledge of greenhouse soft fruit growing. The three-day training at the Delphy ISFC in Horst (NL), is intended for participants with some experience in growing soft fruit.
What do you learn?
This three-day training course focuses on growing strawberries in greenhouses. Optimisation of yield and quality by focusing on climate and cultivation methods. How to use new technology like LED lighting. Theoretical lessons are interspersed with assignments and excursions.

Day 2 | Water and Nutrients
- Fertigation
- Excursion to a commercial grower
Day 3 | Crop Protection
- Disease and pest management, theory and practice of scouting
- Excursion to a supplier in the soft fruit sector
