For anybody who would like to learn more about Fertigation in Horticulture. This expert training is intended for everybody with some experience in horticulture or preliminary education with chemistry or the online training Introduction to basics of Fertigation in Horticulture.
Content
In this online training you will learn about the chemical aspects of nutrients and fertigation, how to read an analysis and make adjustments in the fertilizer recipe. Calculation of your own A and B tank filling from a recipe. The uptake of water- and nutrients by the plant and the relation with pH and EC.
This training is given in English. We also offer this training in Dutch, on other dates.
Quote: “Nitrogen can be offered in 2 ways, as Nitrate or Ammonium. The plant has a strong preference for Ammonium. But with an excessive Ammonium gift, the pH can drop too much, which will result in dieback damage of the roots. This directly leads to loss of yield.”

- Will understand the principals of Fertigation. This will help you to develop your work in horticultural business.
- Will get a certificate of participation is provided after the training.
How does it work?
This training is given online by a senior teacher. The participant must have an active attitude, join the discussion about the topics, answering questions and make some homework, like calculations from recipe to A & B container. This training is comparable with a real class, not just a webinar.
