Revitalizing Egyptian soils – Less salt and more organic matter

The TMT aimed to strengthen the capacities and skills of university staff members to improve the employability of their graduates in the agricultural sector in the Fayoum region. working on providing adequate knowledge, experience and skills that are lacking. The training sessions use three teaching methods: theory, practice, and knowledge transfer of the participants themselves to their students. resulting in more efficient dissemination of in-depth knowledge on climate-smart and organic cultivation.
Delphy focuses on supporting growers worldwide, addressing the lack of knowledge and experience regarding solutions required to transform the current agricultural practices towards more sustainable ways of growing food, by providing training on Organic cultivation, water management and efficient irrigation, Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) combines a focus on water efficiency with an investigation of crop resilience and adaptation to climate change, while reducing the carbon dioxide footprint of the entire agricultural value chain.
This project makes sure that the training is gender inclusive and empowers the participants to be more interactive through activities and practical training.
