Rory McCarthy
At Delphy ISFC, I work as a Soft Fruit Researcher in strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries. I am involved in designing, conducting and analysing trials, and I help translate research results into practical knowledge for the sector. My interest in plants began at an early age and ultimately led me to study Plant Sciences at Wageningen University. What appeals to me about working at Delphy is the combination of research, innovation and close collaboration with growers and other partners in the sector. This work allows me to combine my personal interest in plants with the opportunity to contribute to a better understanding of plant and cultivation processes and to the further development of sustainable and productive soft-fruit cultivation.
