Bart Esveldt Project Manager International

As Project Manager Ornamentals at Delphy, I develop and coordinate advisory and innovation projects within the ornamental horticulture sector. With a master’s degree in plant sciences from Wageningen University & Research, I translate scientific knowledge into practical cultivation strategies. I work closely with growers and international partners to optimize production systems and ensure that innovation is implemented correctly. My fascination with plants started at a young age and developed into a professional passion for ornamental horticulture, especially roses. The complexity and continuous optimization within this sector motivate me. At Delphy, I value working at the forefront of innovation, where science meets practice and where progress is something we strive for. I spend a substantial amount of my leisure time in the gym, to build discipline and consistency, principles that also define my approach to project management. I believe in building effective, well-performing systems, whether in sport or horticulture, and contributing to sustainable ornamental production aligns with that ambition.
