
Demonstration day for the GLB demonstration project ‘Floriculture of the Future’
Invitation
We would like to invite you to an inspiring demonstration day on Wednesday afternoon, 9 April at the Delphy Flower Bulb Testing Ground in Lisse. This afternoon offers a unique opportunity to discover the latest innovations and developments in flower bulb cultivation.
Programme
- Date: Wednesday 9 April
- Time: 13:00 – 17:00 hours
- Two starting times: 13:00 hours and 15:00 hours
- Location: Delphy Flower Bulb Testing Ground, Loosterweg Zuid 17a, Lisse
During the demonstration day, various trials and innovations will be presented, giving you the opportunity to learn from consultants and researchers and exchange ideas with colleagues from the sector. Various topics will be discussed, such as:
- Alternative methods for limiting the spread of viruses in tulips
- Research into weed control in hyacinths
- Sustainable control of root-knot nematodes in dahlias
- Hot-air treatment as an alternative treatment method against gall mites in tulips
- Alternative, sustainable methods for controlling insects in various bulbous plants (heat treatment and CATT treatment)

Participation is free of charge, but we ask that you register in advance using the registration form to reserve your spot; this helps us with the organisation and catering.
