The Summer Event 2026 is a renewed edition of our familiar Field Day at Delphy ISFC. In a compact and focused setup, we bring together professionals from the soft fruit sector around current trials, innovations and practical experiences.

During the Summer Event, meeting, knowledge exchange and inspiration are central: from demonstrations in and around the greenhouse to discussions with researchers, growers and innovation partners. In 2026, the event will take place in a two-part format:

• an open afternoon at Delphy ISFC
• followed by a practice-oriented field trip

This setup creates space for both content and interaction, offering plenty of opportunities to exchange ideas and insights.

Why you should not miss the Summer Event 2026

• Practice at the core – Visit ongoing trials and demonstrations in the greenhouse, under gutter systems and rain covers. The trials will be explained by researchers and involved project partners.
• Meet the innovation partners – Connect with Delphy’s Innovation Partners and discover new developments in the soft fruit sector. Meet them at the Innovation Partner Plaza.
• Content and interaction – An accessible setup with room for in-depth discussions, questions and exchange of experiences.
• Compact yet valuable – In two days, you will gain an up-to-date and inspiring overview of key developments in the sector.
• International context – Easily combined with GreenTech and attractive for both Dutch and international visitors.

Trials to see include:

• Fresh unlit everbearers year-round (January planting)
• With a controlled greenhouse towards a climate neutral cultivation: growing everbearers throughout the summer in balance (greenhouse)
• Strawberries from seed on stone wool
• Glaia photosynthetic enhancement trial
• Moleda plant sauna trial
• Selection trials strawberry tabletops
• Primocane raspberry selection trials
• Different blueberry varieties

Open afternoon – Thursday 11 June 2026
Free walk-in throughout the afternoon from 12:30 until 19:00
Growers who are Delphy clients: 2 persons per company free of charge
Other visitors: €60 per person
Drinks (coffee, tea and soft drinks) and a small snack are included.
Those who wish to stay for dinner can visit the food truck(s) at the end of the afternoon, at their own expense.

Field Trip – Friday 12 June 2026
The field trip is exclusively organised for participants of the Delphy ISFC Field Day. During an organised tour, several practical soft fruit locations will be visited.
