The text from the jury report
“Delphy outlines an interesting social dilemma. There are fewer people with green knowledge available and at the same time many young people want to contribute positively to a better world. Delphy wants to play a bridging role in this by first developing knowledge and skills to make cultivation scalable, more sustainable, healthier and safer. To then play a leading role in five activities: research, training and education, advice, digitalisation and projects. This product portfolio across the full breadth of horticulture strengthens the knowledge economy in the Netherlands in the area in which our country wants to be a leader. Delphy wants to involve employees as much as possible and values the pleasure of working together and performing in a team. That team spirit is further nourished by a team bonus in the form of an interesting, unifying activity, such as a visit to the potato sector in Rwanda. A knife that cuts both ways: employees contribute to the world and get to know each other in a different setting. The proverbial icing on the cake is an impressive list of company successes. In short, Delphy is interesting as an employer and as a knowledge enterprise as a whole.”
