Coached Learning by Doing

Target group: fresh farm managers, successors in nurseries, graduates seeking practical experience.

The practical training an individual route to obtain knowledge and skills necessary to become a competent professional in horticulture. This way of learning by doing is suitable for people who are eager to develop themselves professionally in a practical way. Internships in different companies will help them to identify differences and find out what suits them and their company best.

During minimum six months up to one year the trainee is coached by a professional trainer on an individual basis of three hours per week or one day every three weeks. The other time is spent on at least two nurseries, ideally each two months. During the coaching time reflection is done on specific topics identified by trainee and trainer and situations met at the nursery. Of course the crops chosen are the ones that fit best in the trainees interest.

“We believe that the right set of skills will optimize your cultivation expertise. We are offering you that practical set of skills
