Aegisto, Efficacy, Selectivity and Screening studies

Delphy is performing GEP (Good Experimental Practice) efficacy trials and screening studies under the subsidiary Aegisto for the implementation of validity research on plant protection products. This services companies that want to register plant protection products.

GEP and TNG

For the conduct of registration research, Aegisto has been approved by the NVWA of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs within the GEP (and TNG) certificate of Official Recognition of Efficacy Testing Organisations in the Netherlands. This certifies that Aegisto has officially been recognised as an organisation for efficacy testing in The Netherlands and has been laid down in the ‘Regeling gewasbeschermingsmiddelen en biociden’ (Regulation Crop Protection Products and Biocides) of September 26, 2007 (Staatscourant 2007, 386).

The above organisation is competent to carry out efficacy trials/tests in the categories mentioned in the annex of this certificate.

Aegisto is officially recognised as being competent to carry out efficacy trials/tests in the following categories:

  • Arable crops
  • Large fruit crops and nuts
  • Small fruit crops (incl strawberries)
  • Outdoor vegetable and herb crops
  • Protected vegetable and herb crops
  • Outdoor ornamental crops (inc. Flowerbulbs)
  • Protected ornamental crops (inc. Flowerbulbs)
