Autonomous Growing nomination for Delphy Digital

The jury has selected Delphy Digital as one of the six nominated from the twenty-six submissions.

Unmanned Growing Concepts

The nominees for the 2nd edition of the Top Sector T&U Innovation Prize have been announced. Delphy Digital has been nominated for the “Innovation Prize 2020 – Unmanned Growing Concepts”, which is again organized this year by Top Sector T&U and TU Delft. On October 6, the nominees will present a pitch to the jury and the public, after which the public can vote until October 23, when the winner will be announced.

With autonomous growing, according to the jury, Delphy has proposed an innovation that demonstrably contributes to the further development of “unmanned growing concepts”. Automation and robotization are important for horticulture. The unmanned growing concept of Delphy Digital helps greenhouse vegetables growers worldwide by making autonomous decisions about climate, irrigation and crop control. Our team works on technology which makes it possible to meet the increasing demand for high quality fresh food and an increasing lack of people who know how to grow this food.

Innovation Prize

The six nominees will present their innovation on Tuesday 6 October during the HeroFestival in The Hague – also to be followed via livestream – to both the jury and the participants of the event. The jury will make its choice based on this. You can still register for this via www.herofestival.nl. The public can also vote from 7 October via www.IMPACT2025.nl. The presentation will take place on October 23, 2020 during the event “RoboCrops the Gathering”.
